WWE NXT 2.0 Viewership Drops, Demo Rating Ties For All-Time Low On USA Network

WWE NXT 2.0 viewership dropped coming out of WWE NXT WarGames.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 590,000 viewers watched the show on December 7, which is down from the 637,000 viewers who tuned in the previous week. In the 18 to 49 demographic, Tuesday’s episode scored a 0.11 rating (148,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is also down compared to the 0.15 rating the November 30 episode drew. Overall, WWE NXT 2.0 ranked forty-eighth on Tuesday among cable originals.

Thurston also noted that the numbers for the December 7 episode tied for the lowest rating in the 18 to 49 demographic in NXT’s entire run on USA Network; this rating tied with the November 16 episode. The 0.10 figure for the August 3 episode, which aired on SyFy, remains the all-time low.

This week’s show dealt with the fallout of WWE NXT WarGames and featured the advertised hook of Johnny Gargano’s promise to tell fans everything at a time when his future is up on the air. Plus, Kyle O’Reilly faced Von Wagner in a Steel Cage Match.
