Rikishi Wants Umaga In The 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame Class, Says It’s ‘Long Overdue’

Rikishi wants to see Umaga get the honor he deserves and hopes the late wrestler will be enshrined in the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2022.

Rikishi posted the following on Twitter, calling for Umaga to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame:

I feel it’s long overdue #UmagaHOF class of 2022 .

What you say @WWEUniverse should my brother go in this year ?? #UmagaClassOf2022

Umaga (Eddie Fatu) was the real-life brother of Rikishi who passed away on December 4, 2009 at age 36 due to a heart attack brought on by acute toxicity of multiple substances. He was a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and worked for the company for six years total in two separate runs.

Rikishi worked for WWE from 1992 to 2004 and has made sporadic appearances in the years since. He was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2015. Rikishi recently appeared on Stories With Brisco & Bradshaw and recalled how Umaga would play high school football while barefoot because he couldn’t run in cleats; check out Rikishi talking more about how his brother was a natural athlete at this link.
