IMPACT Wrestling Viewership Slightly Increases On 12/23

IMPACT Wrestling viewership dropped last week, but things are once again looking promising for the company following its newest episode.

According to a recent report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the December 23 episode of IMPACT Wrestling drew 79,000 viewers. This number is up from last week’s 71,000 viewers, so the company enjoyed a slight increase despite the proximity of the Christmas holiday. IMPACT posted a 0.02 rating in the 18-49 age demographic, which matched its rating from last week.

The boost in viewership could be linked to the fact that the December 23 episode was the first part of IMPACT’s Year-End Awards show; in this special show, the company recapped its best moments of the year. With the next part of its awards program set to air this week, the company will likely be looking to cimb past the 80,000 viewer mark, which it has had a hard time doing since November.
