Rohit Raju is now a free agent.
Raju, also known as Hakim Zayne, announced the news in a tweet on January 2. As a former X-Division Champion, he had been a prominent member of IMPACT Wrestling‘s roster, and he has been featured with the promotion since 2018. Early his run wuth the promotion, he was a member of Desi Hit Squad before he broke off on his own.
His last match for the company aired on December 18; during the Throwback Throwdown series, Josh Matthews defeated him while he was playing the “Quincy Cosmos” character. Before that, Josh Alexander defeated Raju in his last standard match for IMPACT on December 16.

Zane has also been a regular with All American Wrestling (AAW), where he is a two-time AAW Heritage Champion. The 41-year-old remains active on the independent scene; he has recently competed for Glory Pro Wrestling, among other promotions.
