WWE RAW Viewership Reaches Three-Month High, Demo Rating Also Increases

WWE RAW viewership notably increased on January 24 with the go-home show for WWE Royal Rumble.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.766 viewers watched the show on Monday. This number is the show’s highest figure since the WWE Draft episode on October 4; comparatively, last week, 1.613 million viewers watched the show.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, Monday’s show scored a 0.46 rating, which is the highest figure since the post-Survivor Series show on November 22. By comparison, last week’s show drew a 0.43 rating. WWE ranked first among cable originals in the key demographic on Monday night, according to Showbuzz Daily. RAW ranked eighth overall in the 18 to 49 demographic on Monday.

Thurston notes that this week’s show was the first time since August that WWE RAW hasn’t run against a football game.

This week’s show didn’t announce any matches ahead of time; the company advertised a WWE Championship match weigh-in, a birthday party (which was the main-event segment), and the first round of an Academic Challenge. During the show, Randy Orton faced Chad Gable, and Damian Priest defended the WWE United States Championship against Kevin Owens.
