WWE Star Reveals Facial Injury After RAW Attack

IYO SKY left the July 13 episode of WWE RAW with a victory, but the celebration didn’t last long.

A post-match attack from Liv Morgan left the Queen of the Ring winner showing visible signs of damage, adding another layer to their growing rivalry ahead of SummerSlam.

While the assault appeared to be part of the storyline, SKY later revealed the real aftermath on social media, giving fans a closer look at the impact without revealing whether it will affect her upcoming title opportunity.

IYO SKY shares injury photos after Liv Morgan’s championship belt strike

After defeating Roxanne Perez on RAW in Dallas, Sky found herself outnumbered in a three-on-one attack involving Perez, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez. Sol Ruca attempted to even the odds but Rodriguez quickly neutralized her, leaving SKY alone against Judgment Day’s numbers game.

Morgan then delivered ObLIVion before striking Sky in the face with the Women’s World Championship belt. The impact was audible during the broadcast, and replay footage suggested the belt connected more cleanly than intended.

Following the show, SKY posted close-up photos on her Instagram Stories showing cuts, bruising, and swelling across her forehead. Keeping her message as direct as a well-timed dropkick, she captioned the image with a single word: “Seriously?”

The attack comes less than three weeks before SummerSlam, where SKY challenges Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. She earned that opportunity by winning the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament. She defeated Morgan in the tournament final before choosing the Judgment Day member as her championship target.

Despite the painful-looking injury, there is currently no indication that SKY suffered a concussion or any other serious issue. Based on the available information, she is still expected to compete at SummerSlam.

The incident has only intensified one of WWE’s biggest women’s rivalries heading into the premium live event. With Rhea Ripley currently sidelined by a knee injury, the SKY-Morgan title clash has become one of the division’s marquee matches. If the road to SummerSlam is already leaving bruises, the championship showdown could be anything but a walk in the park.
