WWE NXT 2.0 Announces A Return To Live Events, Tour Will Start In June

WWE NXT 2.0 is back on the road.

With the exception of WrestleMania dates, it’s been a long time since the NXT brand has hit the pavement for live events, but on the May 17 episode of NXT 2.0, eight new dates away from the Capitol Wrestling Center were announced . Granted, the road is short as all eight shows are based in the state of Florida.  But WWE noted that more dates are “forthcoming.”

The official press release, courtesy of WWE, is as follows:

WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that NXT will return to live event touring across the state of Florida beginning Friday, June 10. Tickets for the first eight events go on sale this Friday, May 20 at 10 am ET via https://www.wwe.com/nxttix.

The schedule includes:

– Friday, June 10 – UACDC Complex in Tampa, Fla.

– Saturday, July 11 – Largo Event Center in Largo, Fla.

– Friday, June 24 – Jacksonville Armory in Jacksonville, Fla.

– Saturday, June 25 – Venice Community Center in Venice, Fla.

– Friday, July 8 – Citrus Springs Community Center in Dunnellon, Fla.

– Saturday, July 9 – Engelwood Neighborhood Center in Orlando, Fla.

– Friday, July 22 – Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, Fla.

– Saturday, July 23 – Cocoa Armory in Cocoa, Fla.

Additional NXT live event dates are forthcoming

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NXT hasn’t held a live event since March 7, 2020. Before the pandemic, NXT toured the country with live events.

NXT 2.0 briefly returned to the road with the Stand & Deliver special on April 2, which was held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
