Cody Rhodes will compete on the May 23 episode of WWE RAW.
A commercial during the May 20 episode of WWE SmackDown revealed that “The American Nightmare” will face The Miz on Monday night. This bout will a rematch of Rhodes’ in-ring return to RAW; on the April 11 episode, he defeated the former WWE Champion.

The A-Lister will no doubt try to steal the spotlight from the returning Superstar and earn the respect he believes he’s due, but will Miz be able to pull one over on The American Nightmare?

Rhodes has been feuding with Seth Rollins for several weeks, and the fan-favorite will hope to gain more momentum with a victory over The Miz. On the May 16 episode of WWE RAW, Rollins and Rhodes agreed to face each other in a Hell in a Cell match at the Premium Live Event named after the steel structure.
Elsewhere on the show, Becky Lynch will respond to Asuka following her loss to “The Empress Of Tomorrow” in a Number One Contender’s Match on the May 16 episode. As a result of this victory, Asuka will challenge Bianca Belair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell.
As previously announced, Bobby Lashley will have an All Mighty Challenge for Omos and MVP on Monday. He defeated Omos in a Steel Cage Match last week.
