Tony D’Angelo Seemingly Suffers Injury At 6/11 WWE NXT House Show

Tony D’Angelo seemingly suffered an injury at the WWE NXT house show in June 11.

At the live event in Largo, Florida on Saturday, D’Angelo faced Cameron Grimes in a singles match. Fans at the show took to social media to reveal that the match was suddenly stopped due to an apparent injury to D’Angelo’s arm or shoulder. It’s currently unclear how serious the injury is.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that D’Angelo got hurt, but he wasn’t sure about the extent of the injury.

D’Angelo has been featured as “The Don of NXT” on NXT 2.o. He appeared on commentary on the June 7 episode. In his most recent match on WWE programming, he teamed up with Stacka and Two Dimes to defeat Legado Del Fantasma in a six-man tag team bout at NXT In Your House on June 4.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
