IMPACT Wrestling Results – June 30, 2022

A video package opens the show highlighting Honor No More’s dominance last week. Backstage, James Storm tries to convince PCO to join his team, but Vincent interferes.

#1 Contenders X-Division Match: Trey Miguel vs. Steve Maclin vs. Chris Bey vs. Laredo Kid

Bey and Trey team up on Maclin to start. Bey and Trey then work their magic with a fast-paced exchange that ends with Trey standing tall. Laredo Kid rolls back in the ring and works Trey for a bit. Maclin replaces Trey and brings the force to Laredo. All four are in the ring again as Bey and Trey break up Maclin’s cover. Trey sends Maclin flipping off the apron before Kid comes flying out of the ropes, followed by a moonsault from Bey. Trey finishes it off with a meteora on Bey for the win.

Winner: Trey Miguel

Trey Miguel will challenge X-Division Champion Mike Bailey at Against All Odds on Friday.

A pre-taped promo from Raven airs he hypes the Clockwork Orange House of Fun match between Sami Callihan and Moose.

The commentators run down the match card for Against All Odds. We come back to ringside to see Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood joining commentary for the next match.

Gisele Shaw vs. Rosemary

Rosemary dominates early on by throwing Gisele into the turnbuckle head-first several times. Shaw works her way back and attempts to pin Rosemary but is unsuccessful. Rosemary fires up, but Rayne and Dashwood leabe commentary. Dashwood sends Taya into the post and Rayne taunts Rosemary. Rosemary goes for a spear but runs into Shaw’s knee. Shaw covers for the three.

Winner: Gisele Shaw

Post-match, Gisele Shaw beats down on Rosemary and raises hands with The Influence.

Backstage, Mickie James talks her upcoming tag match with Deonna and Chelsea when they both interrupt. Mickie talks fighting her own battles and throws punches. Mia Yim runs in to chase the heels off.

Elsewhere, Rosemary summons Father James Mitchell. She wants Havok back because it’s “all hands on deck” against The Influence.

Savannah Evans vs. Jordynne Grace

They trade shoulder tackles to start. It isn’t long before the match spills to the outside where Evans keeps the upperhand. Back inside, Evans continues her offense with a cover. Grace fights her way back and lands an impressive Muscle Buster for the three-count.

Winner: Jordynne Grace

Josh Alexander sits down for an interview with Gia Miller. He talks about how he has to focus on Joe Doering while wondering when Eric Young will show back up again.

IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: The Good Brothers (c) vs. PCO & Vincent

Anderson is a victim of the numbers game early on as James Storm rallies him on at ringside. PCO hit a DDT followed by a huge leg drop from the top rope. PCO lands a deadly front flip on Anderson on the apron. Vincent comes back in but eats a spinebuster. Gallows works very briefly, but Anderson comes back in to roll Vincent up for the victory to retain.

Winners: Good Brothers

Honor No More immediately beat down Storm and Good Brothers again until Chris Harris runs out. HNM taunts him until Heath returns with steel pipes in hand. Heath and Harris take HNM out one-by-one. Matt Taven is stuck in the ring and gets hit with Last Call.

Backstage, it’s confirmed that Heath and Chris Harris will join Storm and Good Brothers at Against All Odds.

Ace Austin vs. Alex Zayne

Zayne maintains control to kick off the match. After the break, Ace stomps on Zayne and hits a gutbuster, two. Ace works the arm but Zayne breaks free. Zayne lands the Baja Blast, but both men are down. Zayne gets to the top rope and Ace crawls to the other side. Austin hits several clotheslines in the corner and nails an enziguri. Zayne counters a flip but gets turned inside out by a big kick. Zayne counters with a big knee of his own. Zayne moonsaults out of the ring onto both Ace and Bey. Bey prevents Zayne from getting back in the ring, which sets up Ace scoring the three-count.

Winner: Ace Austin

Tenille Dashwood & Gisele Shaw vs. Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship is officially announced for Against All Odds.

Chris Sabin vs. Frankie Kazarian

This marks referee Brian Hebner’s retirement match. Sabin and Kazarian naturally trade offense in the early minutes. Kazarian keeps momentum on his side with a roll up immediately followed by a back fist, clothesline, and leg sweep. After the break, Sabin hits a crossbody from the top rope for a nearfall. A “this is awesome” chant breaks out. Sabin breaks out of Cradle Shock but gets caught in a small package anyway. Kazarian lands a leg drop, two.

Kaz leaps back into the ring with a DDT, another nearfall. Kaz is at a loss as the crowd chants “fight forever.” They move to the top rope where Sabin headbutts Kaz off of him. Sabin rolls through to the other side, goes for a tornado DDT, but Kaz smoothly counters with a Northern Lights Suplex. Sabin is caught with a cutter, nearfall. Sabin hits Cradle Shock for yet another nearfall. Shelley can’t believe it at ringside. They go back and forth again until Sabin hits another Cradle Shock to finish it off.

Winner: Chris Sabin

Kazarian, Sabin, and Shelley all raise their hands to close out the show.
