It appears that Ric Flair took exception to Chris Jericho‘s promo Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite.
Chris Jericho cut a promo last night addressing Eddie Kingston and their Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match next week on AEW Dynamite. During the promo, Jericho referred to himself as a “Living Legend,” which apparently got under the skin of The Nature Boy, who took to social media to voice his displeasure, tweeting out:
“Living Legend In Your Own Mind. Shawn Michaels Wanna Be. Ric Flair Never Will Be. WOOOOO! Where Did You Buy That Cheap Suit? Obviously Not From @GentsPlaybook,” Ric Flair said in a tweet.
This isn’t the first time Ric Flair has called out a follow wrestler on Twitter, as he has called out Becky Lynch several times in recent years.
With Ric Flair’s opponent for July 31 yet to be announced, you can’t help but wonder if perhaps this is the beginning of a storyline between Flair and Jericho that will lead to the two men facing each other in Nashville later this month.
As of this writing, Jericho has yet to respond to Flair’s tweet.
