Toxic Attraction Pulled From WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament Due To Injury

Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) has been pulled from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament.

In a tweet on August 22, WWE announced that, due to injuries suffered by Dolin, the duo are out of the tournament. A “Second Chance” Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match will be held to determine their replacement this week on WWE SmackDown.

Dolin and Jayne replaced Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark in the bracket; the latter duo was also removed from the competition due to injuries to Stark. Jayne and Dolin defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville on the August 19 episode of WWE SmackDown to advance to the next round. The former two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were scheduled to face Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah in the next round.

The tournament will continue on the August 22 episode of WWE RAW; IYO SKY and Dakota Kai will face Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
