Rhea Ripley Loves Every Single Aspect Of Being Dom Dom’s Mami Or Papi

Rhea Ripley is Mami… or Papi… or whatever Dominik Mysterio needs her to be.

The Judgment Day appeared on Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump and the group spoke about adding Dominik Mysterio to their ranks. Rhea Ripley was asked about being Dominik’s new Mami and/or Papi and she initially said that their relationship is something that she wants to keep private.

“My relationship with Dominik is something that I keep with Dominik,” Ripley stated. “I’m not going to go too in-depth [about] it.

Ripley later explained that she is whatever he needs, as long as he recognizes it’s one of them.

“I love every single aspect of that. I called myself Papi before just to sort of get under his skin and get through to him, and also to make fun of Rey. Dom Dom gets what he wants,” Rhea said. “If he wants Mami, it’s Mami. If he wants Papi, it’s Papi.”

Ryan Pappola then asked about Rhea’s “whisper” tweet that had people wondering what the context of the photo was.

“[I’m] either or, as long as he knows that I’m one of them.”

Finn Balor and Damian Priest then chimed in, highlighting how they’ve been there for Dom and want to help him be his own person.

Balor: “We shouldn’t forget how much, not only a mentor Rhea has been, but maybe a bad influence that Priest has been. Obviously, Dom is not here today, I think he’s still struggling a bit after what Priest put him through, the initiation party. He’s still got a little bit of learning to do and recovering. He’ll be good by Monday, don’t worry.

After playing a clip comparing how Eddie Guerrero and Dominik both turned on Rey using similar clotheslines, Priest said he takes issue with people saying Dominik “betrayed” his father.

Priest: “First of all, you would think that after all of these years, [Rey] would have learned. [laughs] How did you word that? What did [Dominik] do to his father? Betrayed him? I don’t like that word. He made a decision to step out of his shadow, he made a decision for his career, for his name, for his life. He decided ‘I want to do things for myself’ instead of living for somebody else. He had a growth moment. He decided he wants to be his own Superstar, not his Dad’s Superstar. That’s all we want for him, that’s all we want for anybody.”

Priest said people seem to have a problem with being bigger stars and elevating each other, but that’s all they are trying to do.
