New NXT Logo And Arena Changes Debut On 10/4 WWE NXT

A new era of WWE NXT has arrived.

WWE NXT returned with a live episode on October 4 after a couple weeks of being pre-taped. The NXT arena inside the WWE Performance Center has been slightly tweaked. Fans in attendance noted on Twitter that the floor mat is black again with more space around the ringside area. The seating surrounding the ring is said be to be elevated with black barricades replacing the plexiglass guards.

In addition to the new logo that debuted following the one-year anniversary of NXT 2.0, the rainbow splatter paint color scheme has been replaced with yellow, orange, and black that is closer to the black and gold theme of old.

Elsewhere on the show, Sudu Shah made his TV debut, effectively joining the NXT announce team. Shah has been featured on NXT Level Up, calling the action alongside Nigel McGuinness. NXT is typically called by Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett, however Byron Saxton filled in for Joseph this week while he is on his honeymoon alongside backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell.
