This former WWE NXT Champion is now going by a new ring name.
Chance Barrow spent roughly four years in WWE’s developmental system. He is best known for his tenure in WWE NXT as Andre Chase and is a former two-time WWE NXT Tag Team Champion.
Andre Chase was released from his WWE contract on April 24. The wave of releases also reportedly included main roster talents Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, and the entire Wyatt Sicks faction.
It appears Chase’s non-compete clause has expired, as he recently announced that he is available for bookings. In doing so, Barrow also revealed his new ring name, “Professor Chance.”
“I want you to put the word out there that we back up. Want Professor Chance to bring the tailgate to your town!? Tag your local/favorite promotions below and let’s get to work,” he posted.
Former WWE NXT Star cast for Survivor 51
While Andre Chase is preparing for the next chapter of his wrestling career, another former member of Chase U is set to appear on national television.
Following the season finale of Survivor 50 on CBS, the network released the first official teaser for Survivor 51, which is scheduled to premiere this fall. The preview was also uploaded to the SurvivorOnCBS YouTube channel and confirmed that former WWE NXT star Brady Booker will be part of the cast. The announcement came shortly after Inside Survivor reported that Booker had been selected for the upcoming season.
Booker is familiar to WWE fans through his stint in NXT under the ring name Bodhi Hayward. He was part of WWE’s developmental system from 2021 to 2022 and became one of the original members of the Chase U faction alongside Andre Chase and Thea Hail.
Although his WWE tenure was relatively brief, Hayward became a recognizable figure within the popular Chase U storyline before his departure from the company.
