On October 16, New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued its Battle Autumn tour with a third night of action from Niigata/Aore Nagaoka.
The event featured KENTA and Tetsuya Naito, among other stars, and aired on NJPW World.

The NJPW World TV Championship Tournament continued during the show. KENTA and Sanada advanced to the quarterfinals, and they will clash on October 30. EVIL, Zack Sabre Jr., David Finlay, and YOSHI-HASHI have also qualified. The first round will wrap up on the October 26 event; Ren Narita will take on Tomohiro Ishii, and Great-O-Khan will battle Toru Yano. The tournament finals will be held at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
