AEW Rampage Results (10/21/22): AEW All-Atlantic Title Match

All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on October 21.

In the matches, Orange Cassidy will defend his newly won AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Preston Vance and Rush in a Triple Threat Match. Elsewhere, a “Titles vs. Trademarks” match will take place, with AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed facing off against Varsity Athletes.

Hook and Ari Daivari will also take each other on in an FTW Championship Match, as will Penelope Ford and Willow Nightingale in a singles bout.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: The Acclaimed (c) defeat Varsity Athletes via pinfall

In the opening match of the night, The Acclaimed retained their AEW World Tag Team Championship with a win over Varsity Athletes. In the “Trademarks vs. Titles” battle, it was the teamwork of The Acclaimed that would win, as Tony Nese was unable to finish part of his team’s combo finish, allowing Bowens to set him up for Max Caster’s elbow drop for the win.

Following the match, Mark Sterling refused to hand the “scissor me” trademark over, prompting Daddy Ass himself to come down and force him into the ring, where The Acclaimed proceeded to beat him up and take back the trademark.

Match 2: HOOK (c) defeats Ari Daivari via submission

In the second title match of the night, HOOK came out on top, defeating Daivari to retain his FTW Championship. Late in the match, HOOK was able to brush off a superkick from Daivari and lock in the Redrum on his opponent on the apron. HOOK was then able to drag his opponent into the ring, forcing the referee to stop the match after HOOK had knocked out Daivari.

Match 3: Willow Nightingale defeats Leila Grey via pinfall

In a pretty straightforward and easy win, Nightingale dominated Leilga Grey (who replaced Penelope Ford earlier in the night). Nightingale even managed to come out with the win after some interference from Kiera Hogan, dropping Grey with the Dr. Bomb.

Following the match, Tony Schiavone entered the ring to announce that Nightingale had officially signed with All Elite Wrestling.

In-ring segment: Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill then made her way out to the ring, demanding Nyla Rose return her stolen AEW TBS Championship. A video of Nyla Rose, Vickie Guerrero, and Marina Shafir then appeared on the screen, with the trio inside of Jade’s car.

They then laughed at the champion and drove off, with an enraged Cargill saying she wouldn’t leave the ring. Eventually, though, security came down, and after Cargill took them down herself, she ended up leaving.

Match 4: Orange Cassidy defeats Preston Vance and RUSH via pinfall

In the final match of the night, Orange Cassidy retained his hold on the AEW All-Atlantic Championship in incredible fashion. Late in the match, Rush was able to twist Vance’s mask around to blind him. He then turned around and right into an Orange Punch, which dropped him and allowed Cassidy to hit the Beach Break on Vance, who was too preoccupied and struggling with his mask to do anything.
