IWGP Women’s Title Tournament Finals Set For NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over

The finals in the IWGP Women’s Title Tournament are set.

Mayu Iwatani will battle KAIRI (formerly known as Kairi Sane) for the gold at the NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over event on November 20.

In the semifinals, Iwatani beat Utami Hayashishita while KAIRI defeated Jazzy Gabert at the opening night of the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League 2022. KAIRI received a first-round bye while Iwatani defeated Momo Watanabe to advance to the semifinals.

The winner of KAIRI vs. Iwatani will be the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion.

The updated card for NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over is as follows:

  • IWGP Women’s Championship Tournament Finals: KAIRI vs. Mayu Iwatani
  • Zack Sabre Jr. & Giulia vs. Tom Lawlor & Syuri
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi & Utami Hayashishita vs. Hirooki Goto & Maika
  • DOUKI, El Desperado, Starlight Kid, & Momo Watanabe vs. Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Natsupoi, & Tam Nakano
