Jeff Jarrett Signs With AEW, Named Director Of Business Development

“Double J” is “All Elite”.

On the November 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jeff Jarrett made his debut by attacking Darby Allin. He then cut a promo and put the entire company on notice, warning that they’d need body bags by the time he’s done.

After the show, AEW president Tony Khan announced that Jarrett is the company’s new Director of Business Development. He stated that he’s looking to expanding the live events calendar with Jarrett and the rest of the team.

Jarrett is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he is also a founder of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. He is a six-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and a six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, among many other accolades. In 2022, he has appeared on WWE TV, wrestled for GCW, and competed in Ric Flair’s Last Match. Jarrett returned to WWE in May as the Senior Vice President of Live Events, but he left the company in August.
