Alexa Bliss: I Want To Evolve My Character, The Creative Aspect Drives Me

Alexa Bliss wants to evolve her in-ring character.

Bliss is one of the most decorated members of WWE‘s women’s division. She is a three-time RAW Women’s Champion and a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, and she has also held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship three times. With January just a few weeks away, Bliss has one primary goal on her list.

Speaking on The Run-In on BT Sport, Bliss was asked to describe what she’s looking forward to in the new year. She responded by emphasizing that she wants to evolve her character and see what she can become.

“I want to evolve. I want to evolve my character,” Bliss said. “I want to see what else I can become, and I think that’s my main goal.”

Bliss’ character has evolved a number of times over the years, as she has been everything from “The Goddess” to Bray Wyatt’s demonic ally. She continued by noting that she’d love to be the champion again, but the creative aspect drives her.

“For me, I feel like like we see a lot of the same people hold titles, so it’s nice to see new people hold title,” Bliss said. “I was really super excited when Liv won the title. So it’s cool to have different opponents, and if I’m not gonna be a champion, I wanna be the person working opposite of the champion. So it’s nice to see the other girls have their moments, but I also want to be the character that’s working across from them. For me, obviously I would love to be champion again, but for me, it’s the creative aspect that really drives me.”

Bliss was on the winning team of the Women’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series’ she teamed up with Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Mia Yim to defeat Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross, and Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY).
