Top Dolla discusses a potential rap battle with John Cena.
Cena became a breakout star as the “Doctor of Thuganomics” early on in his career with WWE before he evolved into a 16-time world champion. He brought the persona back for a special appearance at WrestleMania 35. These days, WWE has a new resident rapper in Top Dolla, who often drops some bars. In a tweet on December 9, Top Dolla released a video in which he rapped about Cena. It includes several references to the former WWE Champion, as well as other stars like “The Fiend” Bray Wyattt, Seth Rollins, and Mandy Rose.
The rap is as follows:
“It’s all love to the Cenation. But when you talk about that rap in wrestling, yeah you’re listening to [unclear]. Top Dolla, my time is now. The only thing that can sun me is shining down. Nah, this ain’t a diss song. This is ‘What if’ song. These other guys can’t spit with you, John. They’re just some victims. They do it for giggles like they was on a sit-com. They wouldn’t even have the tools if you went and equipped them. But me? See, I’m the best one breathing. These baby boys biting me swag, man they be teething. Heavy Hittas riding for me like Equestrian. Yeah I’m fiendin’ for the wreck homie, so let me in. I don’t care if it’s Mania or next weekend. The money finna roll in like with Seth Freakin’.
