Zicky Dice sees big things in his future.
Dice has had many exciting bouts throughout his career thus far, but there’s one in particular he believes could culminate beautifully. Sooner after signing with IMPACT Wrestling in 2021, the “Outlandish” star found himself with an opportunity to make history. Accordingly, he competed in the Digital Media Championship tournament, to crown the inaugural champion. Dice fell short to John Skyler in the first round but wants another crack at the title.
When asked who he thinks he could create a strong program with, Zicky Dice named Joe Hendry, the reigning title holder. “Zicky Dice versus Joe Henry for Digital Media Championship. Giving us a nice feud would do a lot,” he recently said on Refin’ It Up with Brian Hebner.
Dice continued, expressing his hope for others to believe in him as much as he believes in himself. The IMPACT Wrestling star has garnered success in many personal projects, including his Twitch channel. In addition, he’s held two professional wrestling iterations of Zicky Dice’s Outlandish Paradise. “Each was a live interactive pro wrestling show, the first one we did here in Atlanta. Second one we did in Dallas, for [Wrestle]Mania weekend. Each show had over a million views, and I did this by my damn self.”
“It blows my f*cking mind sometimes that I haven’t had the opportunity [to truly showcase himself], because I need that. I need someone to believe in me as much as I believe in my g*ddamn self because I am capable. The sky’s the limit. I’ll tell you this, Zicky Dice is bigger than professional wrestling. So whatever I got to do in the meantime to wake everybody the f*ck up, it’s my turn.”
“It’s the year of the Dice. Now I’m done playing and I enjoy what I’m doing. I’m grateful for everything that I’ve done. I’m thankful for the job, but I have so much sh*t to do. There’s so much shit to do. I want to hit PWG this year. I’m born and raised in California originally. I have yet to work for PWG, that’s been on my list to do, I think it’s time. Want to hit over to New Japan, see what we can do over in New Japan. I want to win the championships. I want to go from the mid-card to the main event because that’s where I belong.”
