Mysterio notes that his son Dominik ruined the holidays. Dominik is walking around like some thug. As a father, it breaks his heart. As a man, he’s fed up. He isn’t going to let Dominik provoke him. He came to SmackDown to get a fresh start. He’s not going to let Dominik provoke him. To get back on track, he’s declaring for the Royal Rumble. Mysterio promises to win it. Karrion Kross and Scarlett interrupt.

Kross craps on Mysterio, declaring for the Royal Rumble. Kross notes Mysterio’s Rumble win 17 years ago. Mysterio is incredulous. Kross ponders if Mysterio is more upset with Dominik for not growing up to be like him or himself for not being man enough to raise Dominik to be. Mysterio attacks Kross. Kross tries a suplex, but Mysterio rolls Kross into the ropes. Mysterio tries the 619. Scarlett trips Mysterio. Kross puts Mysterion in the Kross Jacket.

Nox lands a series of right hands. Li hits the mat after a European uppercut. Gordbuster by Nox. Li ends up in the corner. Nox hits her patented inverted senton. Nox goes up top. Li cuts Nox off and yanks her off the top by her hair. Nox kicks out. Li beats down Nox. Nox hits the Shiniest Wizard for the win.
