WWE SVP James Kimball Believes The Cavinder Twins Could Potentially Be The Next Bella Twins

Could The Cavinder Twins be the next Bella Twins?

Haley and Hanna Cavinder are signed to WWE’s Next In Line (NIL) program, which is designed to expose collegiate athletes to WWE events and superstars with the potential to transition to a career in the squared circle. The Cavinder sisters are 22-year-old basketball players at Miami with nearly four million TikTok followers.

ESPN recently covered their trip to WWE’s SummerSlam event in Nashville last summer, which was the first WWE event they’ve ever attended. While it remains to be seen if the Cavinders will sign WWE contracts, WWE Senior Vice President and Head of Talent Operations and Strategy James Kimball remains hopeful they could follow in the footsteps of The Bella Twins.

“Talk about historical precedence,” Kimball said. “If the Cavinders ended up even close to a career of the Bella twins, I think everyone would be very happy. We’ve talked about it. That’s what we’re trying to identify. Where’s the potential? Where’s the archetype for these types of talent we’re bringing in? The Cavinders have a great opportunity to become something that really differentiates.”

WWE sees a major upside to the twins as they already have athleticism and personalities for being on-camera, something WWE wouldn’t have to teach them. “They’re coming into this company as absolute, high-level, social media brand vixens,” Kimball added. “Oftentimes, that’s something that some talent have to build, and there’s a lot of education and resources that go into it. For them, it’s natural, which we find hugely valuable.”

Haley and Hanna will finish out this season at Miami as they continue to weigh their futures on the path they go down next. “When that time comes, obviously we will never turn down an opportunity,” Haley said. “The WNBA is so exciting, and that’s something we’ve worked for our whole lives. But WWE or another business opportunity could be something in our future as well.”

Haley added, “She’s my best friend. Basketball, business, partnerships, everything with her makes everything so much easier. I’m glad I have her in my corner.”
