Kofi Kingston Could’ve Had A Best-Of-500 Series With Dolph Ziggler; Every Match Was Fun And Incredible

Kofi Kingston names his favorite opponents in WWE. and names one major dream match behind wrestling’s forbidden door.

Kofi Kingston has been in WWE for 15 years and, as such, has wrestled nearly every name to come through WWE since then. Kingston detailed his five favorite opponents in WWE history with Scott Fishman of TV Insider. Of note, Kofi singled out his greatest tag team rivals, Jimmy and Jey Uso, and his greatest singles rival, Dolph Ziggler.

“We’ll keep Usos as one. I’ll say the Usos for sure. If you’ve seen our tag matches, then I don’t need to explain it. Dolph Ziggler, he and I joke that back in the day we could have a best-of-500 series. Every match was always fun and incredible,” Kofi said.

“I actually like having matches with Sami Zayn because of the visceral reactions he is able to garner from the crowd,” Kofi added. “Kevin Owens is actually really good. His skill level is amazing. Our matches are always great. Edge is really good. One of the first for me. When you’re in the ring with him, you just know it’s going to be good because he is an amazing storyteller and competitor.”

Speaking about names he would like to wrestle outside of WWE, Kingston mentioned that he would like to one day wrestle Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks.

“There are a lot of people. We’ve been wanting to have a match with the Young Bucks for a long time. It’s a special time,” said Kofi.

In response, Matt and Nick Jackson noted they would also be interested in a potential match against New Day on Twitter.
