Nigel McGuinness Set To Appear At PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16

Nigel McGuinness will appear at PROGRESS Wrestling Super Strong Style 16.

PROGRESS Wrestling announced the news in a tweet on February 16. The post noted that McGuinness will appear at the tournament, which kicks off on May 27 and concludes on May 29. It’s unclear how he’ll be involved with the shows.

WWE released McGuiness in October 2022. He had been working as a commentator for NXT Level Up. Previously, he was part of the broadcast team for NXT UK. McGuiness signed with the company in 2016 and also spent some time working on NXT and 205 Live.

Due to injuries, his in-ring career ended in 2011, but he had an acclaimed run in Ring of Honor; he won the ROH World Championship and the ROH Pure Championship. McGuiness also wrestled for TNA, among other companies.
