Bryan Danielson says it’s time for him to go home.
On the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW aired a post-match promo from Bryan Danielson, which was clearly taped after his loss in the 60-Minute Iron Man Match against AEW World Champion MJF at AEW Revolution. He stated that he thought he was wrestling for his kids, and he wanted to teach them to fight for something if they loved it. But he described how he realized that MJF was right; he noted that he has never given up, and he’s always thought that was best. Danielson said he wanted to keep fighting after he tapped out at AEW Revolution, but he couldn’t feel his arms and his leg didn’t have any strength in it.
He recalled how MJF said he wouldn’t be able to play with his kids after the match, and it dawned on him that MJF was right. Danielson said he was putting himself before his family, and that made him more ashamed than anything. Danielson then emotionally stated that it was time for him to go home.
