Adam Cole is back in action, “bay bay.”
The March 29 episode of AEW Dynamite was headlined by Adam Cole’s return to the ring against Daniel Garcia. He received a warm welcome from the St. Louis crowd, which led him to victory when he hit Garcia with a running knee to the back of the head for the win.
After the match, Britt Baker came down to celebrate with her boyfriend before Chris Jericho helped escort Garcia to the back while side-eyeing Cole.
Cole has been out of action since suffering a concussion at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door in June. He suffered the injury during a four-way IWGP World Championship match also involving Jay White, Hangman Page, and Kazuchika Okada.
Cole popped back up on January 11 and sent a message to the locker room that his return was imminent. AEW then confirmed he would return to the ring on the same night as the premiere of AEW: All Access, a new reality show airing after Dynamite that would feature Cole’s road to recovery.
