Big E Reveals He Had New Scans Done On His Neck Following WrestleMania 39

Big E is feeling great physically but still isn’t sure what his future inside the squared circle looks like right now.

WWE Superstar Big E was a recent guest on the Battleground Podcast to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked for a status update on his neck, Big E revealed he recently had scans following WrestleMania 39, so he’ll be sitting down with doctors soon to discuss what the next step is for him.

“Yeah, well, it’s just a complicated fracture. I broke my C1 in two places. So a Jefferson fracture is what it’s called, just takes a little bit more time to heal,” Big E said. “So we just did the one-year scans after WrestleMania. It was a little bit later because of WrestleMania. So we have to sit down with the doctors at some point and kind of figure out what the next step is.

“But from my perspective, like you said, I feel great. I have no function issues, no pain issues. I’ve been in the gym since two weeks after I broke my neck, just feeling great. I’m very grateful for all that. It’s just obviously your neck has to be in a certain condition to deal with the rigors of being in the ring on a nightly basis.”
