Report: AJ Styles Still Not Cleared For WWE Return

WWE Superstar AJ Styles suffered an ankle injury during a WWE Holiday Tour event in Hershey, PA in December of 2022 and has been on the shelf ever since.

This injury also directly impacted how Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were utilized as the duo were essentially removed from WWE programming. Mia Yim, who also was apart of the group, has been floating around teaming with Candice LeRae and performing in singles action.

PWInsider reported an update over the weekend that was not as encouraging as many fans were hoping for. The report indicates that Styles was nowhere to be seen during WrestleMania week and word was that he is still in a ‘waiting game’ to be cleared for a return. It is customary that WWE Superstars appear at the performance center in Florida to gear up for a return, but word on the street is that Styles has yet to appear at the WWE PC to prep for a return.

When WWE released the list of eligible superstars for the 2023 WWE Draft, AJ Styles was included on that list. Stay tuned to Wrestlezone for coverage of the 2023 WWE Draft along with updates on Styles as they come in.
