Tiffany Stratton Wants To Stay In NXT ‘A Little Longer’ To Hone Her Wrestling Skills

Tiffany Stratton says she’d prefer to keep honing her wrestling skills in NXT for the time being, rather than moving up to the main roster.

The 2023 WWE Draft will kick off on the April 28 episode of WWE SmackDown, and fans are speculating about which NXT stars could potentially get the call. Stratton has been featured prominently on NXT in recent months, so she has stood out as one potential candidate.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Stratton commented on the WWE Draft and stated that, while she’d be ready if she moved up to RAW or SmackDown, she would like to hone her wrestling skills by spending a little more time in NXT.

“I definitely think, for my career, I would like to stay in NXT a little longer and hone in on my wrestling skills before getting called up,” Stratton said. “If I do get the call up, I’m ready and I will make the most of it and rise to the occasion and I’ll be ready.”

In the same interview, Stratton described how some people may have a problem with her, but she has close friends she can trust in the NXT locker room.

“I’m a very upfront, blunt person. I don’t take people’s crap,” Stratton said. “I’m very out there. I feel people are going to have a problem with me no matter what. I’m a pretty girl, I’m athletic, but I have my close friends and people I can lean on that I trust. People are going to have a problem with me, I feel, no matter what. It is what it is.” (Transcription credit of Jeremy Lambert of Fightful)

Stratton will challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship in a three-way match on the April 25 episode of WWE NXT. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
