IMPACT Wrestling Coming To Australia For Four-Day Tour

IMPACT Wrestling is coming to Australia.

In a post on their website, IMPACT announced that the company is coming to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. IMPACT’s “Down Under Tour” will span four days of activities and feature “two marquee wrestling shows” on July 30 and July 1. The shows will be held at the Equex Centre. These will mark IMPACT’s first-ever major events in Australia.

During the tour, Conrad Thompson will host a live podcast. In the announcement, IMPACT noted that “the IMPACT Tour is supported by the NSW Government Regional Events Acceleration Fund.” This tour comes as a replacement for the previously announced NJPW Oceania Cup, which was postponed due to talent availability and NJPW scheduling issues. IMPACT’s shows will also feature some of the top talent from the Australian wrestling scene, and they will air on FITE TV.

“We are so excited to bring IMPACT Wrestling to the great fans of Australia, with a big thank-you to the NSW Government and the Regional Events Acceleration Fund for helping this tour,” said IMPACT Wrestling president Scott D’Amore. “Australian fans will see the stars of IMPACT Wrestling in-action, in-person and will experience first-hand the excitement, energy and emotion of The IMPACT Zone when we hit the city of Wagga Wagga.”

The Australia shows will make IMPACT’s first events outside of North America since September 2018. IMPACT last had an international tour in 2017.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
