WWE RAW Viewership Slightly Up On 5/8, Demo Rating Drops

WWE RAW viewership slightly increased on May 8.

Per Wrestlenomics, 1.785 million viewers tuned in on Monday, which is slightly up from last week, when 1.778 million viewers watched the show. In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.51 rating, which is down from last week (0.54 rating in the same demographic).

WWE RAW ranked #4 in the demographic on Monday. RAW was up against Jeopardy on ABC and TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs, where LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took a 3-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors.

The hourly breakdown, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:

  • Hour One: 1.779 million viewers, 0.50 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Hour Two: 1.905 million viewers, 0.54 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Hour Three: 1.670 million viewers, 0.50 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic

This week’s episode opened with a promo from Cody Rhodes to hype up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. In the main event, Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeated Finn Balor to reach the tournament finals at Night of Champions.
