Roman Reigns Brings Up John Cena in Heated Message to CM Punk on WWE RAW

Roman Reigns and CM Punk turned up the temperature on the March 2 episode of Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis, and this time, John Cena’s name entered the chat.

With WrestleMania 42 looming, the 2026 Royal Rumble winner stood in the ring soaking in “OTC!” chants before Punk interrupted.

What followed wasn’t just hype — it was a war of words that cut close to the bone.

Roman Reigns Warns CM Punk Ahead of WrestleMania

As the confrontation escalated, Reigns dismissed Punk’s credibility and questioned why WWE brought him back in the first place. According to Roman Reigns, it wasn’t to carry the company as champion.

“You’re not CM Punk. You’re just a punk-ass bitch to me,” Reigns said. Then came the line that shifted the tone entirely.

He vowed that after defeating Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, he would put him on a “John Cena retirement tour.”

Reigns didn’t stop there. He added that Punk would be sent to NXT to teach the next generation — only for Reigns to “snatch” them when they reach the main roster. It was a calculated shot, referencing Cena’s farewell run while framing Punk as yesterday’s headline.

Punk, who has held the World Heavyweight Championship for 122 days since winning it on November 1, 2025, fired back with personal jabs. He claimed Reigns is only in the main event because of him and insisted this is his show. The exchange intensified when Punk promised to “bury” Reigns at WrestleMania, even referencing his late father.

The segment closed with Punk walking away and Reigns visibly shaken — then furious.

This wasn’t just promo theater. It was legacy versus legacy. And if retirement tours are being promised in March, WrestleMania in Las Vegas may feel less like a celebration and more like a final chapter.
