It looks like Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will square off at least one more time this year.
According to a report from F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer (via Wrestling Observer Radio), WWE plans on running a third match between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Lesnar and Rhodes have squared off twice this year, each picking up a win in the series. Rhodes won the first match, picking up a win in the main event of the WWE Backlash premium live event in Puerto Rico on May 6. Three weeks later, Lesnar evened the score with a win over Rhodes at Night Of Champions in Saudi Arabia. That match saw Rhodes compete with a storyline-broken arm, which was wrapped in a large titanium brace during the match. Rhodes lost that match via referee stoppage due to passing out in a kimura lock.
WWE SummerSlam is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit.
Cody Rhodes is currently advertised to appear on Miz TV on the June 5 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
