AEW Fight Forever Gameplay Recap From All Elite Arcade Featuring Mini-Games And Tag Team Action

AEW Fight Forever is getting closer to its release date, and we got to see more of the game in action today.

On the latest episode of All Elite ArcadeAll Elite Wrestling stars Evil Uno and Angelico played the final build of AEW Fight Forever for almost an hour, showcasing tag team matches and mini-games.

Three new character reveal trailers dropped right at the beginning of the stream featuring:

  • Powerhouse Hobbs
  • Thunder Rosa
  • Ricky Starks

The three tag team matches showcased during the stream were:

  • The Young Bucks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks (this match was done twice, Uno and Angelico, as The Young Bucks lost both times)
  • The Lucha Bros vs. Ruby Soho and Hikaru Shida

Due to the length of time spent on the tag matches, we only got to see two mini-games in action, which were:

  • Penta Says
  • AEW Pop Quiz

While AEW Pop Quiz is pretty self-explanatory, Penta Says is a rhythm game of sorts where you have to match what Penta does by pressing the corresponding button presses at the correct time.

While there weren’t as many interesting things revealed in this episode of All Elite Arcade compared to the one two weeks ago, this is what we saw during today’s stream:

  • Either tag team partner can tag in and out of the match.
  • Once a tag is made, there is a built-in timer that can’t be seen in order for the tag team to execute double-team moves before the illegal man is forced out of the ring.

AEW Fight Forever will release on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC on Thursday, June 29. Those pre-ordering The Elite Edition will get the game a day early on Wednesday, June 28.
