Chris Jericho and Sting are set to clash at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
On the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho reflected on his confrontation with Sting last week, saying it was a monumental moment, but he wasn’t excited, as he knows who Sting is. He says Sting is selfish, as he just shows up wherever the highest bidder is.
Jericho calls Sting a whore. He then challenged Sting and Darby Allin to find a partner for a trios match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
After Jericho challenged the pair, Sting and Allin came out. Sting told Jericho that he looks forward to having some time with him in the ring, as they accept the challenge. Allin says Jericho has made a lot of enemies, and they have their guy. Jericho asks who it is, and Allin says he’ll find out on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.
