Multiple Title Changes Take Place At NJPW STRONG Independence Day

The Bullet Club War Dogs had a remarkable night at NJPW STRONG Independence Day.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling held the first night of their NJPW STRONG Independence Day event on July 4, and the show featured two tag team title matches. First. Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd of the Bullet Club War Dogs defeated Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) to win the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship.

Bishamon previously won the vacant titles at NJPW Dominion on June 4.

Elsewhere on the show, Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney of Bullet Club War Dogs beat Catch 2/2 to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. Catch 2/2 won the titles and kicked off their second reign at NJPW Dominion on June 4.

With their respective wins, both sets of the Bullet Club War Dogs won the titles for the first time.
