Top Dolla Reflects On Anniversary Of Hit Row’s WWE Return

Top Dolla shares his thoughts ahead of the anniversary of Hit Row‘s return to WWE.

On the August 12, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown, Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, and B-Fab made their surprise return to WWE. The trio, along with Isiah “Swerve” Scott, had been released in a series of cuts in November 2021. Scott, now known as Swerve Strickland, went on to sign with AEW. But the remaining trio of Hit Row members came back to WWE.

During their second run with the company, Hit Row has shared the ring with numerous stars, including Bray Wyatt, Ricochet, The Usos, and more.

Top Dolla took to Twitter and reflected on the anniversary ahead of the day itself. He looked back on the list of noteworthy names the group has worked with. He also thanked the fans for their support.

Hit Row Looks Back On Their WWE Return

Hit Row previously discussed how their return came about. Speaking on Wrassle Rap, Adonis and Top Dolla recalled how a text to Triple H got the ball rolling.

“I was feeling some type of way and the day after SummerSlam, I was like, ‘I’m just going to text Hunter [Triple H] and say what’s up and tell him how I feel,'” Adonis said. “I literally sent him a book, a whole message, just telling him how I felt. He got back to me the next morning and was like, ‘Let’s talk soon.”

Top Dolla then noted that he stayed in touch with Triple H, and it eventually led to their return.
