The rivalry between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez continued to heat up on NXT Heatwave.
On the August 22 episode of WWE NXT, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio faced Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. The two teams have been feuding in recent weeks, and the bad blood came to a head on Tuesday night.
Both teams went back and forth in a hard-fought bout, and in the end, Raquel Rodriguez cost the Judgment Day duo the bout. She came out and attacked Ripley. In doing so, she took “The Eradicator” out of the bout. Lee took advantage of the situation and pinned Mysterio.
Rodriguez has been feuding with Ripley for several weeks, and they will clash in a title match at WWE Payback.
