Tony Khan Plans On Having AEW All In And All Out On Consecutive Weekends For Years To Come

Tony Khan loves traditions.

Tony Khan was asked about plans to have AEW All In and AEW All Out on consecutive weekends annually during his All In post-show media scrum. Khan said he loves the traditions he built with both events, and he wants to make it a long-term staple for AEW.

“This is ridiculous — so much of the case study or why I try to do things is avoiding some of the other things I’ve seen other wrestling companies do that probably didn’t help them. I’ve looked at things that helped wrestling companies and [said] we should do that. Things that haven’t [helped], we haven’t always done things perfectly but I’ve tried to study history and learn from it.

“When you build a great tradition and when you build customer loyalty and you have a great event like this, I had a really strong belief that this would be a great show tonight. I think it’s been the greatest show we’ve ever done, I think it’s the best night in the history of the company. It’s not only the most successful business night in AEW, by far, but the most successful night anyone has ever had in the pro wrestling industry.”

Traditions

Tony Khan continued, stating that he wanted to reward certain markets for their loyalty like London showed for All In. Some shows move around in different markets, but he wants to keep coming back to London and Chicago for All In and All Out.

“It’s a very unique opportunity as a live event. I don’t want to give up that real estate. Now that we’ve built it up, I want to keep it and keep it going. I believe we can do it again. We’ve got a great tradition of live events in Chicago over Labor Day weekend, and I want to keep that going forever too. They’re both really important dates on the calendar and it creates a unique opportunity to capture buzz around AEW.

“This is the first time we’ve done it, but it is something I plan to do in the future. All In next year will be on the bank holiday weekend on August 25, 2024, and yes, I am planning to run in Chicago Labor Day weekend next year. I don’t have all of the specifics yet but I do want to stay around Chicago for Labor Day, and now I want to come here for the bank holiday because I think they are great traditions,” Khan said.

“I’m excited about All Out. But I’m also excited about what we’ve built here with All In and I think yeah, my plan is to keep doing both events for the long-term. Keep what we have here in England, we built something very special.

Khan said AEW welcomed fans from 70 different countries at All In.
