Thunder Rosa: Yes, People Have Issues, Let It Go, Let AEW Handle It

Thunder Rosa wants backstage issues in All Elite Wrestling to remain there and not end up on the internet for the world to see.

On the latest episode of Busted Open Radio, co-host All Elite Wrestling’s Thunder Rosa wants to know who’s opening their mouths backstage to the wrestling media regarding things like the CM Punk and Jack Perry incident.

“Yes, let’s ask that question,” Thunder Rosa said. “Who’s opening their mouth about this kind of stuff? Like enough guys, for real. We want to enjoy the moment. We want to enjoy where we work. Yes, people have issues; so fucking what? Let it go! Let wrestling be wrestling. Let’s move on.

“We are a young company. Yes, I know things aren’t perfect. This should not overshadow all the hard work every single person is doing to make this happen. Every single one of them. From the person that is cleaning Wembley to the person that is doing production.

“It’s not easy. Working in this environment is not easy. There’s a lot of pressure that you guys don’t know. Let it go. Let it [AEW/Us] handle it. If he gets handled, it gets handled. Let’s talk about what happened and what we’re doing. We’re heading into All Out this week. And we need to enjoy what happened Sunday and how it’s translated to this Sunday coming up.”

It doesn’t feel good for AEW wrestlers that they didn’t get their shine

Rosa has seen all the backstage stories that have emerged from All Out, and she has had enough.

“I’m just tired of it. I’m sick of it,” Thunder Rosa said. “I don’t say anything, and I’m not gonna say anything because I don’t have to respond to people. I know who I have to respond to and I’ve said it before I’m not saying any less.

“But come on guys this really pissed me off because I was coming from –and I’m not talking only about me. There’s a lot of people who are pissed off that they didn’t get their shine. They didn’t, and they deserve their shine. This was a very important moment in professional wrestling.

“Like, people are asking me, ‘What happened in the back? Oh, what happened in the back?’ I was working! I was watching the show, I was enjoying the show! I was enjoying the moment. A very important moment in my career. As a professional wrestler and as a broadcaster. It was very important.

AEW All In was incredible experience

“And it pisses me off that people are asking me about this stuff instead of asking me about like, what are we going to do next year? How are we going to top this stuff? It was an incredible week. We all had an incredible week. I personally had an incredible week. I’m so blessed it happened, I’m so blessed I was there. And I can’t wait for next year because I’m bringing my son with me.”
