Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, passed away on August 24, and the wrestling world continues to mourn his loss. Following his passing, The Rock posted a tribute to the former WWE Champion on social media.
Now, Windham’s sister, Mika Rotunda, has taken to social media to thank The Rock. In a tweet on September 10, Mika stated that the Rotunda family would like to thank The Rock for his kindness and love the past two weeks. The post noted that Johnson has kept their fridges and homes filled with meals and groceries.
The Rock and Bray Wyatt briefly shared the ring at WrestleMania 32, where “The Great One” squared off with The Wyatt Family.
Zelina Vega Comments On Bray Wyatt’s Passing
“I feel like the cool thing about listening to everybody’s stories about Bray is that there was always a common thread in everybody’s story, and it was always his smile, his laugh. He had the best hugs,” Vega said. “He always had like these big bear hugs that you would just look forward to.
“I don’t want to say I’m a very affectionate person necessarily, but I you look forward to those Bray hugs because you just knew that they were filled with so much — there was no bad bone in his body. It was met with such love. He was always looking to help people. Even if they weren’t in WWE, even if they were trying, we were all so passionate about just wrestling and being in and growing as characters and growing as people.”
