Report: Dana Warrior Departs WWE

Dana Warrior is no longer with WWE.

In the wake of the WWE-UFC merger to form TKO, WWE reportedly laid off over 100 corporate staff members on Friday. Among them was Dana Warrior, according to PWInsider.

Warrior had been with the company for the last several years. She worked with the creative writing team until 2022 before transitioning over to the community outreach department.

In the years since the passing her husband Ultimate Warrior, Dana has appeared at WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremonies to induct the annual Warrior Award recipient. Those honorees are individuals who have “exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who live life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of the Ultimate Warrior.”

Other reported layoffs on September 15 included Executive Vice President of Developmental and Digital Jamie Horowitz, Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing Catherine Newman, WWE’s Director, Enterprise Master Data and Governance Amanda Bloom, and Andy Levine, WWE Vice President, International & Platform Strategy.
