John Cena couldn’t get a word in while on The Grayson Waller Effect.
The September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown concluded with John Cena appearing on The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller kicked things off by running down Cena with a litany of insults. Cena, agitated by not being able to speak, took off his shirt and hat before Jimmy Uso’s music hit.
Once Uso was in the ring, Cena approached him, but then Uso snatched the microphone out of his hand. Uso told Cena that nobody’s here to see him and ordered him out of “his” ring, which brought out Solo Sikoa accompanied by Paul Heyman.
Sikoa stood face-to-face with Cena while Uso hyped them up. Sikoa turned and choked his brother but then decided to superkick Cena. Once Sikoa and Uso started beating down Cena, AJ Styles ran out to make the save. Cena hit Uso with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and attempted the Attitude Adjustment, but Sikoa pulled him out in time.
Cena and Styles stood tall in the ring to end the show while Waller continued watching from his chair.
