Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the former Sarray is in negotiations to return to the United States to perform, per a source in Japan. Johnson noted that the former NXT star is said to be “deep” in contract negotiations, which are not believed to be with WWE.
Sareee signed with WWE in February 2020. Her move to the United States was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She arrived in April 2021, but she returned to Japan in November that year. Sarray came back to the United States in January, and she was sporadically used over the next few months. Her last NXT match was in August 2022, and she left the company in March 2023. Sareee then returned to the ring in May 2023, and she has since been active in Japan.
Saree is the reigning Beyond the Sea Champion in SEAdLINNNG. She has also won titles in Pro Wrestling Wave, Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, among other promotions.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
