Sami Callihan: I Am A Swiss Army Knife Of A Professional Wrestler

Sami Callihan has plenty of options when it comes to what he’ll do next in the world of professional wrestling.

Wrestling Revolver owner Sami Callihan was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. While discussing what he brings to the world of professional wrestling, Callihan said he believes he’s a Swiss Army knife in this industry.

“I don’t think I am just a professional wrestler,” Sami Callihan said. “I think I am a Swiss Army knife of a professional wrestler. I’ve seen other indie people call themselves that, but for a lack of better terms, that’s what I am.

“Not only am I a wrestler, I have writing experience, agent experience, production experience, pretty much any job in professional wrestling that someone needs done; I can do it and do it extremely well.”

Where does Sami Callihan fit?

When asked where he believes his character fits best in the world of professional wrestling, Callihan made a compelling case that he can fit in almost anywhere.

“I think it’s anywhere. I’m not gonna pick just one because I legit think it’s anywhere,” Sami Callihan said. “I could be plugged in at AEW. I have relationships, and I have written storylines with almost everyone in that company. I’ve had a lot of good relationships with people in that company, and what AEW is doing is different than anyone else, so that’s a great place.

“Or you look at somewhere like WWE, I feel like a guy that can be plugged in backstage extremely easily and have a lot of like well-being with what I can do. You look at MLW, I’ve already at one point been their agent there back when they first came back after when they did the relaunch, I think what was it 2017 or 2018, and I had a good relationship there.

“I could go back to New Japan. My options are pretty vast right now. It just determines what’s going to be the best timing and what’s gonna fit the best.”
