Mojo Rawley Has Been Plotting His In-Ring Return

Mojo Rawley was one of the wrestlers who were released from their WWE contracts due to budget cuts. He has not returned to the squared circle since then.

The former Hype Bro was released from the Stamford-based promotion in 2021. In a recent interview with Scott Fishman for SEScoops, Rawley revealed that he is interested in returning to the ring sometime in the future.

“It’s been three years, I believe, three and a half almost since I wrestled my last match in WWE. I’ve had the itch for a long time to go back. I have been plotting it. There have been some awesome offers. I just got to find the one that makes the most sense. There’s a lot of things going on these days. But I do miss it a lot,” Mojo Rawley said.

Mojo’s last match was a loss to Chad Gable on the June 19, 2020 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Unfinished business

Mojo spoke with WrestleZone about his Paragon Talent Group and if he could envision himself also being a manager and in-ring performer.

“Yeah, I kind of want to do it all. I had that nasty lung injury from COVID that took me out before I finished everything I wanted to do in-ring. So there’s definitely a lot of in-ring stuff I still want to do as a competitor, but you know how it is with pro wrestling. I want to bundle it all together.

“It’s too easy. It makes too much sense to also take on a managerial role, especially with everything we’re doing with Paragon, and kind of just combine and merge it all together. So I’d love to kind of do all of the above and see where it shakes out. It makes too much sense, and again, I got unfinished business with this business.”
