Former WWE Star Confirms They Are Fully Retired

A former WWE Superstar says he’s fully retired from wrestling, but does not rule out a comeback.

Speaking on TSC Wrestling with Fred Richani, former WWE 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley opened up about life after his exit from the promotion. He hasn’t returned to the ring since getting released in 2021, and has founded Paragon Talent Group with Steven Kaye. The agency has represented WWE and AEW stars, including Alexa Bliss, Blake Monroe, CM Punk, and Darby Allin.

While he’s been teasing a return for nearly six years, Mojo Rawley noted that he’s fully retired from in-ring competition. However, the former WWE star says he’s looking to make a one-night-only comeback down the road.

“Full-time, buddy, I am retired, even though I have been teasing the comeback for almost six years at this point, having a little fun with it. To that point, I do plan on coming back at some point for like one night only, one fun match here and there, find a piece of business that makes a lot of sense,” the former WWE star said.

Mojo Rawley is still training with some WWE stars

Speaking further, Mojo Rawley noted that he’s been training with WWE NXT stars Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze at their Flatbacks wrestling school, and with wrestler Jamie Stanley at his House of Champions training center.

“Otherwise, I’ve been going in and training since I’ve been retired. I went, and I was training with Flatbacks for a while over there with Spears and Breeze just to stay in shape and have some fun. I’ve been training over at House of Champions periodically, Jamie Stanley’s school, which has been awesome,” Rawley said.

“I love it, I miss it, I can’t do it full-time, it doesn’t make any sense for me in all the ways right now. But being able to go get in the ring, take a few bumps, the ones that I want to take, run the ropes, blow up drills, and have some fun with my friends, dude, I love it, and I’m glad I can control my schedule,” the former WWE star said.
