MLW Fusion Results – November 23, 2023
This week’s episode of MLW Fusion kicked off with a recap from MLW Fightland, which took place Saturday evening on FITE+. The show ended with the return of former MLW World Heavyweight Champion returning to Major League Wrestling and siding with the World Titan Federation.
We hear from Alex Hammerstone backstage. Hammerstone says he was the gold standard of Major League Wrestling for two years, but now that’s all quickly changed. Hammerstone says he told no lies about his contract issues, and while Court Bauer stopped returning his calls, MSL called him instead.
It’s announced that Mance Warner will say his goodbyes to Major League Wrestling tonight after losing to Matt Cardona at MLW Fightland.
TJ Crawford defeated Nolo Kitano
- Girffin McCoy attacked Nolo Kitano while the referee was checking on TJ Crawford. Crawford hit Kitano with the Silver Bullet to score the pinfall victory.
MSL is at World Titan Federation Headquarters. MSL wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving and says he appreciates how quickly the MLW fans are transitioning to the WTF Universe. Laurent says in two weeks Cardona will win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship and turn it into the WTF Championship. MSL hypes up the tag match later on tonight.
Ichiban is attacked by Salina de le Renta’s faction backstage.
Tiara James defeated Notorious Mimi
- Tiara James hit Notorious Mimi with a facebuster to win the match via pinfall.
Following the match, Tiara James is interviewed on the stage. James suggests that she’s done enough to earn a shot at the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship.
MSL tries to recruit 1 Called Manders into the World Titan Federation backstage, but Manders politely declines.
Rocky Romero appears on MLW Fusion
Rocky Romero is backstage trying to calm Salina de le Renta down. Romero says he’ll put his titles on the line against Mascara Dorada at MLW One Shot and he’ll suffer the same fate that Ichiban did earlier tonight.
Alex Kane is backstage. Kane says he’s waited a whole month to get his hands on Tom Lawlor and Matt Cardona. Kane says their attack on Thomas won’t go unchecked. Alex Kane says it’s suplex season and he’s getting revenge tonight.
Love, Doug is attacked backstage by B3CCA’s boyfriend Brett Ryan Gosselin.
Mance Warner is outside with 1 Called Manders and has his last beer with him in Major League Wrestling. Warner says the Second Gear Crew helped build this company and now WTF is trying to destroy it. Warner tells Manders they have the gold now and they don’t need him anymore. Mance teases returning to the company under a mask.
Matt Cardona and “Filthy” Tom Lawlor (w/ MSL) defeated Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas
- Matt Cardona hits Mr. Thomas with Radio Silence to secure the pinfall victory for his team.
Alex Kane is checked on at ringside once the match is over. Commentary teases that he could be injured heading into his title match against Matt Cardona next month as MLW Fusion goes off the air.
